Winemaking
The 2024 Red Blend is crafted from Petite Sirah grown in sustainably farmed Lodi vineyards and aged for 14 months in French oak barrels before undergoing gentle alcohol removal. The result is a naturally lighter-bodied red—structured yet refined—with integrated tannins, subtle oak, and layered notes of cassis, herbs, and cocoa.
Before bottling, a small amount of custom botanical extract is added to restore depth and balance. Developed with Ian Blessing of All The Bitter, the blend of whole botanicals enhances the wine’s natural character, bringing added dimension through dark fruit, warm spice, and a touch of herbal lift.
What does <0.5% ABV mean?
Because our wines start as real wine, the FDA requires us to label them as <0.5% ABV. In practice, they contain less alcohol than what’s naturally found in everyday foods—like a ripe banana (~0.4% ABV) or a glass of orange
juice (~0.7% ABV). Learn more on our blog.
