Jump to recipe
Strawberry spritz: a pink spritz garnished with a strawberry in front of a bottle of Tomorrow Rhône Blanc.

Use the first strawberries of the season to mix up a sweet Spritz for Mother's Day.

It’s a happy coincidence that Mother’s Day and the start of berry season arrive together—so we thought, what better way to toast to Mom than with a spritz made from the very first strawberries of the season?

Mix up a batch of these bubbly, nonalcoholic Strawberry Spritzes and raise a glass to the mother figure in your life. Going nonalcoholic means you can enjoy them anytime—brunch, sunset, or anywhere in between—without anything to slow you down.

Cheers to moms everywhere. You deserve it all.

Method

  1. Start by making the strawberry purée. Rinse and hull 2–3 ripe organic strawberries, then slice them in half. Add to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. For a silky texture, strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds (optional).
  2. Fill a wine glass with ice. Pour in strawberry puree, Rhône Blanc, sparkling water and stir to combine. Garnish with sliced strawberry and serve.
