Baby Showers are Better with Tomorrow Cellars: Hosting Tips and N.A. Sips
There’s a moment at every baby shower where the bubbly comes out—and while most guests imbibe in sparkling wine or champagne in a fancy stem, the mom-to-be gets handed plain sparkling water in a plastic cup. It’s well-meaning, but let’s be honest: it is not a very celebratory start to motherhood! At Tomorrow Cellars, we believe celebrations should be inclusive, and we’re seeing more and more people reach for non-alcoholic wine at baby showers to make sure everyone gets to raise a glass.
When we saw Kylie Kelce’s “Kegs for Pregs” ad with Liquid Death, we were inspired to share a few of our favorite ways to bring elevated, non-alcoholic options into the baby shower mix—without sacrificing the vibe.
First things first: Is non-alcoholic wine safe during pregnancy?
This is a question we often get, and the short answer is yes—but not all non-alcoholic beverages are created equal. Tomorrow Cellars wines are dealcoholized to contain less than 0.5% ABV (similar to a ripe banana or kombucha). According to experts, beverages with this trace amount of alcohol are generally considered safe during pregnancy—though it’s always best to consult with your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. What matters most is that you’re informed and choosing products made with care and transparency.
Hosting Tips: A Baby Shower That Feels Like You
Whether you're planning your own shower or throwing one for a friend, these ideas keep things fun and meaningful.
DIY NA Spritz Bar
Set up a self-serve spritz station with chilled bottles of Tomorrow Cellars, fresh citrus slices, herbs like rosemary and mint, and sparkling mixers like tonic or NA aperitifs. It’s interactive, delicious and gives guests a chance to personalize their pour. For toasts, we like to keep a few chilled bottles of our N.A. Sparkling Blanc de Rhone on hand.
Build the Baby’s Library
Instead of cards, ask guests to bring their favorite childhood book with a note to the baby inside. It's a beautiful way to start the baby’s library—and creates a keepsake to look back on.
Disposable Cameras + A Photo Checklist
If you aren't a fan of the usual baby shower games but still want a fun activity, add disposable cameras on each table and a checklist of fun moments to capture. For example a cute baby outfit, a heartfelt hug, or someone trying to saber a bottle of NA wine. You’ll end up with candid, printed memories from every angle.
Rethink the Theme
You don’t have to stick with the usual pink and blue baby-centric themes. Get creative with your theme and don’t be afraid to choose something that really feels like you. Some of our favorite recent themes we’ve spotted browsing on TikTok:
• Chic + Moody: Candlelight, darker florals, and black and white invites.
• Tinis for the Tiny One: A martini-inspired bash with NA espresso “martinis” and olives on everything.
• Pizza & Pacifiers: Think cozy and casual with lots of pizza, board games, and red as the central color.
Celebrate With Everyone in Mind
At the end of the day, a baby shower is about celebrating a big moment—and everyone deserves to feel included. With thoughtful details and elevated non-alcoholic options, you can host a gathering that feels joyful, connected, and completely you.
Cheers to the next generation—and to a brighter tomorrow.
